Spicy garlic bok choy

A tasty way to enjoy your greens, with only 63 calories per serve! This makes a delicious side dish that can be served along with all your favourite meals.


What you’ll need…


  • 650-700 grams baby bok choy, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon crushed chilli
  • 1/4 cup water

(This recipe makes 3 serves)

 

Directions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large, deep saucepan. Add the garlic and cook until lightly brown.
  2. Add the bok choy and stir around. Cover and let cook for around 3 minutes.
  3. Add soy sauce, garlic powder, and chilli. Keep stirring for another 2 minutes
  4. Add water and stir for 2 to 3 more minutes, or until the bok choy is tender.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
